bill that would require any Texan who owns a male dog which weighs 20 pounds or more and is not neutered to have an insurance policy covering injuries or damage caused by that dog when it is off the leash or out of the dog’s yard, 1200 WOAI’s Michael Board reports.”
McClendon said, “unrestrained un-neutered male dogs over 20 pounds have a higher tendency toward aggression.”
The first question comes to mind. Ruth Jones McClendon. What is your expertise on dogs and what is your true intention? This smells and possibly points back to some experience you might have had and now you want revenge. Mrs.McClendon, people are not elected so that they can carry out personal vendettas so maybe you should step up to the plate and tell the truth. As a dog lover, I am here to tell you this is a 'camel's nose under the tent ' sort of thing. Another stealth campaign against dogs. Another obstacle for those dogs being murdered every day in high kill shelters who have little and rare chances of finding a home. This huge expense is a war on these poor animals and will be the death knell for' male dogs over 20 lbs' as stated in the bill. No. The answer is NO!
This is Texas so why should you care? Stop the nonsense at the root. Cut off this evil notion so that it will not spread to other states and other cities where lies many opponents of the plight of animals and their welfare. Call the Texas Rep. email them..Please...if you love animals you must.
