Without SPCA International, that's how they'd have spent the rest of their lives. Alone. Abandoned. Unloved. But people like you stepped up and said, "We won't allow them to be forgotten. We will bring them home." Thanks to you, these precious dogs will spend their remaining years with families who'll love and cherish them every single day. I don't know why these dogs touched your heart, but you weren't alone. The outpouring of love for them was unbelievable. It reminds me that even though you and I may never meet, we share a unique bond. The animals bring us together. They need us to ease their pain and suffering - to stand up for them and say "no" when they're treated badly. Thank you for standing beside me today and in the future. I hope you'll continue to support our lifesaving work. There are so many other Nuggets and Nandis and Ivys out there. And, they desperately need my - and your - help. With a thankful heart for your compassion, JD Winston Executive Director |

THESE PRECIOUS DOGS SERVE OUR COUNTRY AND WE ABANDON THEM
Why is this still happening? Oh but it has been worse. We all know. It has been worse because no one was looking. And where are those animal groups who have the money to bring an end to this absolute cruel practice of our government. Dogs that are blown to bits as sacrifice to those soldiers in order that those soldiers might live. Shouldn't we owe something at least a trip back home to the ones that do live? Why hasn't PETA spoken up and used their resources to bring pressure to those that might stop this. Oh I forget they are busy pursuing old ladies that have too many cats.
